By collecting data collected by the Joint Nature Conservation Committee and published on data.gov.uk surrounding the UK Biodiversity Indicators and the status of pollinating insects and reshaping it into an unexpected, tangible form this work aims to bring a new perspective on the role of invertebrates in our lives.
By passing this data set through a series of computer programs, the algorithms reshape the data to fit their needs, ignorant of the context of the text, distorting and reshaping it into something new. A further algorithm takes this output and attempts to make sense of this new data in the form of a 3D object.
